Dr. Alland Meyer

Dr. Alland Meyer is a distinguished and compassionate acupuncturist who has dedicated his life to bringing holistic healing and wellness to the San Jose and Modesto communities. With a deep-rooted passion for traditional Chinese medicine and an unwavering commitment to patient care, his work is marked by significant achievements and transformative impact.

Early Life and Inspiration, From a young age, Dr. Meyer was drawn to holistic healing and the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine. Influenced by his Guru's teachings and Buddhist writings, he realized that serving humanity was his true calling, and Chinese medicine became the mechanism through which he could achieve that purpose.

Education and Training, Dr. Meyer earned both a Master's Degree and a Doctoral Degree in Chinese Medicine. He continues to expand his expertise through Continuing Education in internal and external medicine, pain management, post-stroke recovery, herbology, and tuberculosis treatments, with additional training across blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, gastrointestinal, and respiratory conditions.

Hands-On Experience and Global Reach, His commitment to patient care extends well beyond California. He has provided care in Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, and Italy, and through telehealth and herbal consultations he continues to guide patients from a distance.

Approach to Patient Care, Dr. Meyer's approach is rooted in active listening and empathy. He takes the time to understand each patient's unique needs before offering a tailored treatment plan, customizing care based on their history and the principles of Chinese medicine, accounting for the three causes: internal, external, and neither.

Holistic Healing and Beyond, Alongside acupuncture, Dr. Meyer uses cupping, moxibustion, and herbal medicine, and collaborates with other practitioners here at NTouch so every patient receives comprehensive care.
