My interest in Chinese Medicine started in my early teens when a family friend, a practicing herbalist helped family members and friends with troubling, chronic illnesses with only Chinese herbs AND had amazing results! Later on, I’d find myself taking only Chinese herbs for ailments ranging from a simple cold to digestive issues, even stress!

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, I worked as a financial auditor in one of the Big Four accounting firms. But the interest to study Chinese medicine and become a healer were always in the back of my mind. Eventually I enrolled in the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland and earned my Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I follow the classical approach of Chinese Medicine, both in the application of acupuncture and herbal formulas. I have also studied the Master Tung acupuncture points, which are very effective for pain-related conditions as well as a wide range of ailments.

The more I continue to learn about this medicine, the more I am in awe of its power. As a practitioner, it is my goal to share the power and beauty of this medicine with everyone through my practice.
